Last Round of Epworth Lane Restrictions

The contractor is planning to construct a curb island beginning this Wednesday (7/17).  This work will require the outside SB Epworth thru lane to be restricted from Venetian Way to nearly the Deaconess Hospital entrance starting this Wednesday morning through this Friday late afternoon (sawing/excavation, subbase, concrete formwork, concrete placement, and concrete curing).  The inside SB Epworth through lane will remain open during this time. This schedule is weather dependent.

Additionally, the contractor is scheduled to mill and pave both Epworth Road approaches starting the week of August 5th.  They plan to perform this work during normal dayshift hours.  This work will require lane restrictions of Epworth NB and SB, with one lane per direction always remaining open (this applies to the Epworth left turn lanes as well).  This work is likely to take 5 or 6 days to complete, this work should be completed by August 9th or 10th, depending on weather and other factors.  The milling/paving limits north of SR 66 will extend approximately 150’ north of Venetian Way/Epworth Crossing, and the milling/paving limits south of SR 66 will extend to the north side of the Deaconess hospital entrance.  The schedule for this work is also weather dependent.
