Thriving businesses require a quality, plentiful workforce. Warrick County is home to a skilled employment base prepared to work in logistics, distribution, warehousing, manufacturing, medical and healthcare, and more. This is due in part to a solid work ethic, and in part because of the purposeful steps the area schools take to prepare students for jobs of the future. Programs adapted to meet the needs of the workforce supplement the educational opportunities available at career and technical training centers, community colleges, and both public and private colleges and universities.
The students aren’t the only ones getting high marks. 13 of the county’s 17 schools (16 public and one private) earned a Grade A from the Indiana Department of Education. All of the county’s three high schools boast a graduation rate over 90%. Solid preparation and training makes all the difference, and we’re doing everything we can to ensure our community’s success for the long term.
